Urgent/sick appointments

Is it Urgent? We can help.

We understand that sometimes it’s difficult to figure out where your child should receive care when they’re sick. We are here to help with that. Our on-call nurses and doctors are happy to speak with you, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. As our office is open every day (including holidays!), we often can book an appointment for you to be seen promptly in our office that very day.

We accommodate urgent, same day visits every day of the week:

Monday – Friday
9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Saturday, Sunday
8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Holidays
8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

We want to be sure your child receives the best care, and we believe we can provide that the vast majority of the time because of our knowledge of your child, their medical history, and your family. Our relationship with Winchester Hospital and Boston Children’s Hospital also means we can help you coordinate any necessary specialty follow up care, often without the need of a costly and time-consuming emergency room visit. Please always call us first so we can see you at Commonwealth Pediatrics, provide time- and money-saving home care advice, or direct you to a local emergency room or urgent care center if truly needed. If we do recommend a visit to urgent care, our preferred location is PM Pediatric Urgent Care in Woburn.
