Born and raised in Dominican Republic, Dr. Florimon is fluent in English and Spanish. She is a board-certified pediatrician who received her medical degree in Dominican Republic and completed her pediatric residency as a chief resident at the Woodhull Medical Center in Brooklyn, affiliated with NYU Medical College. She has over 5 years of experience working as a pediatrician at a federally qualified health center, taking care of a diverse pediatric population serving refugees, immigrants and multi-ethnic groups. She has treated children from newborns to young adults. Dr. Florimon enjoys the many challenges of caring for children, with a special interest in asthma, ADHD, eczema, obesity, and immigrant care.
